List each product and its seller before comparing Shopee and Lazada multi-seller carts. Check whether splitting an order creates extra shipping or changes returns. Make a seller-by-seller purchase list
For a household restock, note the exact brand, pack count, size and variation of every item. Add the named seller and item price from each marketplace listing. A carton of twelve and a carton of eight are not equivalent just because the cover photo looks similar. Also check whether a listing shows a minimum purchase quantity or variants with different item prices.
Record shipping and expected dispatch for each seller rather than treating one marketplace cart as one parcel. If delivery speed matters, compare the actual arrival estimates on the selected listings; neither ShopBack merchant page promises delivery dates. Keep the seller's return conditions attached to each item rather than assuming all sellers follow the same process.
Calculate the whole basket, not the cheapest row
Build one realistic cart on each marketplace, including all needed items and shipping for the chosen sellers. Suppose, hypothetically, the same items total SGD68 on Shopee across two sellers with SGD9 combined delivery and SGD72 on Lazada from one seller with SGD3 delivery. The payable totals are SGD77 and SGD75. A lower merchandise subtotal loses once shipping is counted. These numbers are only an arithmetic example, not current offers.
If a seller offers a larger pack, calculate cost per usable unit and the number of packs you need. Buying surplus just to change shipping or reach a promotion can increase actual spend. If one seller lacks the required variation, compare the replacement product on its own specifications rather than presenting it as an identical basket.
Check separate redirects before placing orders
ShopBack Singapore's Shopee page says a featured store's higher Cashback requires redirecting from that same store on ShopBack, with a new redirect for purchases from a different featured store. It excludes Shopee Live orders and products added from Live or Video. ShopBack Singapore help explains that landing at seller A and purchasing from seller B changes the applicable Shopee outcome, so the seller path matters even if both checkouts happen in the Shopee app.
Lazada's page tells shoppers to make a fresh ShopBack visit for each separate seller order and excludes items already in the cart before clicking. Its category conditions are distinct from Shopee's featured-store instructions. Plan the purchases on paper, then start each selected transaction through the appropriate current ShopBack route; do not rely on one earlier click for every seller.
Check each checkout and save the results
Before confirming an order, check seller, quantity, variation, delivery charge, usable discount and final payable amount. If a voucher is involved, read the selected merchant's ShopBack terms: both pages exclude certain codes not featured on ShopBack. A lower price with a code may still be the right choice, but do not add assumed Cashback to that checkout.
Keep order identifiers separately for each seller and note any split shipment. ShopBack's Singapore glossary defines Pending as awaiting validation and Confirmed as validated Cashback in available balance. The basket comparison is decided from products and amounts you can see at checkout, while a later Cashback entry remains subject to the merchant's validation.
